Chocolate Cookies (Gluten-Free)

 

 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup raw organic cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup xylitol or honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Combine all dry ingredients.  In separate bowl, combine wet ingredients. Add wet ingredients to the dry mixture until dough forms.  Grease hands with coconut oil or olive oil.  Roll into balls and place onto parchment lined cookie sheets.  Flatten the balls.  Bake for 15 minutes for soft cookies.  Flip and cook for 5 minutes longer if crunchy is desired.
