Glenn Frey- He Took it to the Limit

Reposted from 1/21/16

We just lost one of the greats this week.  I was just stunned to hear that Glenn Frey of the legendary Eagles and one of my favorite bands, has passed away.  I was so lucky to see them in September.  It was an amazing performance that was classic Eagles and left you clamoring for more, despite it being 3 hours plus.
I had not known that Frey was battling autoimmune diseases Ulcerative Colitis and Rheumatoid Arthritis.  I am saddened in particular as I am all too familiar with the diseases he battled…

As many of you know, my daughter was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease over 10 years ago in 2005.  She was so sick and we were so scared.  She was on lots of medication that we had to keep changing as it never really worked.  In fact, they made her even more sick!  Between the medication not working on top of the side effects, Rachel was in pretty bad shape having missed most of her 6th grade school year.

However, we were so grateful to be introduced to a holistic doctor who told us that the food she was eating may be contributing to her autoimmune disease. Sure enough, when we changed her diet and added some supplementation, Rachel improved immediately.  Within months, she was off all of her medication.  After over 10 years, she is healthy, happy and has been remission and ready to graduate college!
Now, I see this all of the time in my practice and with so many of our Detoxers who have gone through the Official Health Coach Detox, that have eliminated the symptoms of their autoimmune diseases.  It seems nothing short of miraculous, but really, it makes sense.
Gut dysfunction can be linked to virtually every disease and can cause conditions like fatigue, depression, food sensitivities, chronic pain, allergies, autoimmune diseases and more.
Right now, there is a free event, The Heal Your Gut Summit from January 18-25.  It will help you understand how these conditions are by and large preventable!  Although it has started, there are still plenty of great speakers ahead.  I’m looking forward to hearingJordan Rubin speak today.  He has an incredible story of recovery from being on his “deathbed” from Crohn’s Disease and then cancer.
The Heal Your Gut Summit will teach you about:
  • Healing the gut to boost immunity and fight cancer
  • Losing weight by improving digestive health
  • Solutions to recover from irritable bowel syndrome
  • Balancing hormones and increasing libido
  • Reversing allergies and autoimmunity with foods and herbal remedies
Please join me as we learn from a ton of experts in this field that is so near and dear to my heart.  I don’t want what happened to our family happen to any of you.  Simply click here to reserve your spot.
I know from my personal experience and from watching clients improve, how life-changing this information can be.  Right now, I can’t help thinking that Glen Frey may still be with us had he practiced some of the tools we had learned.  As I always say, knowledge is power!  Be sure to take advantage of this free opportunity.  I’ll see you at the summit!
