Who would think vinegar has so many incredible uses. As I write this, I am sipping on my own Apple Cider Vinegar cocktail that has great health benefits.
Apple Cider Vinegar has also been found to greatly improve digestion and eliminate heart burn, clear skin irritations (like acne and contact dermatitis), assist in chronic fatigue conditions, help relieve constipation and assist in weight control by breaking down unwanted fat in the body.
Jill the Health Coach Apple Cider Vinegar Cocktail
2 teaspoons of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (I use Bragg’s-with mother)
1 to 2 teaspoons of Raw Honey
8 ounces of filtered hot water
Check out the other amazing uses of Apple Cider Vinegar and plain white vinegar:
Vinegar can help heal bruises.
Soak a cotton ball in white vinegar and apply it to the bruise for 1 hour. The vinegar reduces the blueness and speeds up the healing process.
Sore throat.
Mix 1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey. Sip 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.
Clogs in sink.
Mix ½ cup baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar. Add to clogged sink. When it stops foaming rinse with hot water.
Sticky residue of tape or glue.
Spray white vinegar on area, let sit for a minute and then wipe clean.
Stinky garbage pail.
Take a piece of bread and saturate it with vinegar, then place in empty garbage pail overnight and cover. In morning, remove and clean and there is no more odor.
All purpose bathroom and kitchen cleaner.
Take empty spray plastic bottle, fill 1/3 way with vinegar, fill the rest with water and add a few drops of dish soap.
Fruit flies.
Fill small glass or bowl glass with apple cider vinegar, cover with saran wrap and poke holes in wrap. Place near fruit. Flies will be drawn in but can’t get out.
Wrinkled clothes.
Put 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water in spray bottle. Mist clothing while hanging and let it dry.
Make your flowers last longer.
Add some apple cider vinegar to water with flowers.
Clean glasses/sunglasses.
Spritz a little white vinegar onto lenses and they come out streak free and clear.
Stained cookware/pots.
Add 1 to 2 cups of vinegar and same amount of water to stained pot and bring to a boil for about 5 minutes. This will lift those hard-to-clean stains or cooked on foods.
Burns.
Put vinegar on paper towel and wrap around burns and let sit.
Stomach upset.
See Apple Cider Vinegar cocktail above. It works like a charm!
